You Betta Work

I love fashion. I love clothes, shoes, purses. Seriously, I am a fashion junkie.
While I could live in a pair of jeans, crisp white shirt and some flip flops....I can appreciate how it's all put together. I think in another life...I could have been a stylist.

I have an eye for how to pull a look together. I love it all, from the Isaac Mizrahi shoes at Target to the Marc Jacobs clutch. When I look at clothes....I see art. Sculpture. Poetry in Motion.

When I see a well pulled together woman or man pass me by in the street...I have to give them a nod. The small details...a nice pair of suede loafers with those jeans and tshirt, a great bag worn with your sweats. The look of casual elegance. Sleek sophistication. You know...that....Oh this? I just threw this on. LOVE IT! I am such a fashion junkie....

this year there are some very ugly things passing for fashion. I am very disenchanted. I look in the stores and in the magazines and I don't see anything I like. I like what they had last year. Maybe I'm getting old. I should just buy a pair of those rubber-soled geriatric shoes.

I am getting more into fashion as I get older. I am interested in jewelery and shoes. I love accessories. I now subscribe to InStyle. I use to want to be a personal shopper. I still kinda wanna do that.

God's child...not the croc shoes? Make your own style. Forget what's in. Just wear what looks good on you.

Miz JJ...I saw your picture on your blog. I should have known you were gorgeous. In Style is my favorite magazine. I couldn't even imagine being paid to shop for other people....LOL

My philosophy is: know your own style. You don't have to adapt all the trends from each year, just pull pieces that you like and add to your wardrobe. Just my $.02.

those outfits are hot...fortunately, for women you have more than an array of types of clothing you can choose to wear...I guess the unfortunate part is making the decision on what for you when because of the choices.

I don't know too much about fashion being the manly man that I am (LOL) but I love it when a woman's outfit is put together right.

Erica...I agree. You can mix and match things from all price ranges. Just find what looks good on YOU.

RD...Yay, my sister is back! I missed you on the blogroll. And I know you can relate to the love of clothes. We are HERE *points fingers back and forth*. Welcome home.

Prof GQ...you are right. Women have more variety in selecting...but there's nothing that takes a woman's breath away like a well put together man.

TCas...you ARE a manly man...and I know what you mean. When someone gets it right with their clothes and they have the smile and personality to match....they just glow.

E...you know if I wasn't an old married woman, we'd be perfect for each other. Now go get those nekkid pictures off your blog! :)

Me too!

And I don't fall into all these trends....leggings under a skirt? no thanks. But I know what I like and thats what I buy.

I have so many people asking me where I got something or how I put it together, so I must be doing something right :) And I'm cheap....I will go to great lengths to find something designer but in a cheaper version.

My sister is a celebrity stylist. maybe your side/weekend hustler could be a personal shopper?

A.G.A.W...I wish I had the time. My current side weekend hustle is MOMMY. LOL

Miss Dynasty...I love a sexy one piece swimsuit. Sometimes less is more. The goodies shouldn't always be displayed.
